One of the best coffee roasters on the Island, if not BC. Friendly, personable service, really interesting roasts, and the best cookies. We live 40 minutes away and take any excuse to get to Regard.
Surprised find such high quality coffee in Nanaimo Iced pour over well layerd, even with ice Floral & fruits notes shines out, I saw their latte art too, barista really know what they doing! I been to many top roasters around the world… Still impressed by this pour over!
The stretch of road between Nanaimo and mid Island has had dubious to pour coffee for many years. It’s nice to see the odd place popping up. This place is a gem. Lovely little spot good atmosphere. They made me a flat white and told me it wasn’t gonna be bigger than 6 ounces and I appreciate their Diligence. Great coffee super smooth a little chocolatey. Right up my alley.
Wow! What a little gem of a spot. Husband loves the coffee culture and he was impressed with the coffee plant growing and by his mocha too. We both had cookies and he had an espresso shot before leaving. I tasted it and we decided to buy some beans to bring home. Staff kind and knowledgeable. Also they let us know we can buy their beans at Routine Coffee in Victoria
This is by far the best coffee I have found on Vancouver Island. The roasts are impeccable, the extractions are perfect every time, the temperature is right, the milk is appropriate to the order, and they're not oversized giant sugar-filled drinks, but they are truly what espresso is supposed to be. What's more, the staff is absolutely on-point. If you want coffee the way it was supposed to be served, you need to check this place out!
Best beans, hands down! Andrew roasts every one personally. That sounds like idle praise, but is actually true. Awesome place to stop for a drink, but really, if you aren't buying your daily brew here you are not living your best life.
Went to many different coffee shops in around Victoria. Regard was easily the best coffee and it wasn't close. Exceptional pour-over. Complex flavour profile came through with nothing overpowering the other. I will be back.
Their coffee (and coffee drinks) are really good, latte art is on point , and the chocolate chip cookie is to die for! Overall cute atmosphere inside with the plants, but limited seating and parking
